About Naomi

Naomi Preston has been endurance riding since 1985, and became a TTEAM Practitioner in 1990.  She is probably best known for her AERC Hall of Fame Horse, Mustang Lady.  Adopted as a wild horse from the Idaho BLM and trained by Naomi, Mustang Lady achieved over 5,000 miles in the sport of Endurance Riding.  Some of their accomplishments include:  AERC National Champion; 2nd & 4th place Tevis Cup finishes;  Race of Champions Solo Champion; FEI Individual Bronze Medal; and two FEI TEAM Bronze
Medals.                                                                                              Photo: Hughes Photography

Naomi and Mustang Lady were also selected to represent the U.S. at the World Endurance Championships in Barcelona, Spain, in 1992. Now, with over 9,000 miles of competition, Naomi is competing with Karlady, Mustang Lady's daughter out of the legendary stallion Wazir's Karahty, owned by Dolly DeCair.  Naomi credits TTEAM as an important part of her endurance riding success.

Naomi is available for private lesson and clinics in her hometown of Eagle, Idaho, and at Elkhorn Mountain Ranch in Baker City, Oregon.
